Calling all young builders! The Lego Club is the perfect place for K-3rd graders to unleash their creativity and have tons of fun! Every week, you'll get the chance to build incredible structures, tackle fun challenges, and explore your imagination brick by brick. Whether you're a Lego master or just getting started, you'll love creating and collaborating with new friends. Come join the fun and be part of something awesome!

4-H Club

K-5 // $20 fee to register online with Florida 4H each year (goes to the 4H home office, not to us)

The 4-H Club is a dynamic organization that empowers youth to develop their skills, leadership abilities, and passions through hands-on learning experiences. Rooted in the principles of head, heart, hands, and health, the 4-H Club offers a diverse range of programs and activities encompassing agriculture, STEM, civic engagement, and more. Members of the 4-H Club have the opportunity to explore their interests, build confidence, and make a positive impact in their communities through projects, workshops, and community service initiatives. Joining the 4-H Club opens doors to endless opportunities for growth, learning, and making a difference, while also making it an enriching experience for youth of all backgrounds and interests.

The Eagletts is a vibrant dance club for students in grades K-5, where young dancers learn the basics of dance and stage direction. Every year, these talented students shine in the school's plays, giving both the performers and the audience a delightful taste of the performing arts. Through their participation, the Eagletts not only develop their skills but also contribute to the lively creative spirit of the school.

Due to immense popularity this club typically remains full.

Burns Sci-Tech will be offering 6-week cheer sessions for both boys and girls. This 1-hour club will help children develop coordination, strength, balance and flexibility through the basic skills of cheerleading. We will focus on jumps, stunts, cheers/chants, and tumbling.

Christian Club

Chess Club

Model Car Club

6th & 7th  Donations of $25 - $40 are suggested. (To cover the cost of the models and supplies)

Students will choose a plastic model car (purchased by the teacher) and begin the process of assembly. Assembly will include trimming, gluing, and painting.

E-Sports

​Esports serves as a dynamic gathering point for gamers of all skill levels, united by their passion for competitive gaming and digital camaraderie. Within this vibrant community, members engage in a wide array of video game tournaments, ranging from popular titles like League of Legends and Fortnite to niche favorites like Super Smash Bros and Rocket League. Beyond the thrill of competition, the club provides a platform for players to hone their skills, strategize with teammates, and forge lasting friendships in the virtual realm. Through regular practice sessions, scrimmages, and coaching opportunities, members refine their gameplay techniques and develop a deeper understanding of the esports ecosystem. As esports continues to rise in prominence, our club stands at the forefront, cultivating a vibrant community of gamers who share a common love for digital sports and esports culture.

Golf Club

Are you ready to perfect your golf swing while enjoying some after-school fun? Join Mr. Samson and Mr. McDonald every Tuesday and Thursday for an exciting opportunity to develop your skills on the green!

For just $50, participants will have access to top-notch golf clubs and practice balls generously provided by the school. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out, this clinic is open to all skill levels.

But that's not all! Mr. Samson and Mr. McDonald have big plans in mind. They hope to assemble a Burns golf team this fall, and this clinic is the perfect chance for you to get a taste of what it's all about.

As an added bonus, at the end of the clinic, there's a possibility that Mr. Samson and Mr. McDonald may take some participants out for an actual round of golf after school. It's an opportunity you won't want to miss!

So swing by and see if golf is your game. We can't wait to see you on the green!

Speech Club

​Develop speaking and leadership skills in a fun, informative, and interactive setting. Learning may include how to write a quality speech, effectively interview for a job, speak to a large crowd, give a toast, speak/announce/interview on TV/radio, tell a joke, give a PowerPoint presentation, and much more.

Outdoors Club

Mr. Carignan

Wednesdays 4:00-5:30

Mr. Carignan is taking his passionate for Scouting, Conservation, and the Outdoors, and creating a space for students who share those interests. This club will offer both classroom instruction and outdoor experiences, covering activities like fishing, archery, conservation, outdoor safety, and camping. With support from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) through a “School Fishing Club” grant, we’ll be able to provide hands-on learning that connects students to the great outdoors and help develop the whole person—both academically and socially!
