As summer comes to an end, we are thrilled to share some exciting news about all our facility improvements that have taken place over the break. We can't wait for you to see the many wonderful upgrades when you return!
First and foremost, we're proud to announce a stunning new mural in the gym lobby, painted by local artist and retired art teacher Steve Hardock. This vibrant artwork is certain to bring a sense of Eagle Pride and inspiration throughout the school year. Be sure to stop in during orientation to see the final product.
In addition to the mural, the entire elementary side of the school has been pressure-washed and painted a striking royal blue, giving it a fresh and inviting look. The floors in the 5th/6th-grade building are brand new, ensuring a clean and fresh environment for our students.
We've also taken important steps to enhance comfort and safety with new tinted doors and windows throughout the school. The railings and monkey bars have been refinished to ensure smooth surfaces, an added safety feature for our students' little hands. The front office has also had a makeover, presenting a welcoming and professional appearance; they are currently working on adding safety glass to create a safe entry for staff and families.
Another way we have been preparing for the new school year is by installing a brand-new roof. This upgrade helps to create a secure and weather-resistant environment, keeping our students and staff comfortable throughout the year.
One of our major projects has been improving the drainage system across the entire
school grounds. This will help prevent water-related issues and maintain a safe and dry environment.
Lastly, we’re excited to share that the driveway will be repainted soon, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal of our school.
