What is Leader in Me?
Leader in Me is an evidence-based schoolwide model that empowers students with leadership and life skills needed to thrive in today’s world. Based on Stephen R. Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, this program helps students develop habits that promote responsibility, initiative, teamwork, and goal setting. It creates a culture where students see themselves as leaders of their own learning, capable of making a positive impact in their school and community.

Recently, our Lighthouse Team had the incredible opportunity to attend a Leader in Me Symposium, where they engaged with other schools and educators dedicated to leadership development. One of the highlights of this event was hearing from Sean Covey, the driving force behind the Leader in Me movement. Even more exciting, our team had the chance to meet Sean Covey in person—an inspiring experience that reinforced the importance and impact of this program in shaping the future of our students.
