Mr. Z. Levels Up IT at Burns Sci Tech with Roblox Coding

Mr. Zengotita, affectionately known as "Mr. Z" has inspired creativity, critical thinking, and real-world coding skills among his students through Roblox programming.

Roblox is a virtual playground that has captured the hearts and minds of millions of children and teens worldwide. It offers a space where users can create their own games, experiences, and virtual worlds. Thanks to Mr. Z, students are now able to utilize the built-in coding engine to write and embed lines of code to control objects, characters, and events in the game.

Programming in Roblox is not just about gaming; it's about nurturing essential problem-solving skills and coding proficiency. Mr. Z realized that by leveraging Roblox, his students could learn real-world programming skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Coding became a means to an end, a tool for creating their virtual worlds and bringing their imaginations to life.

Recently, Ms. Galerno had the privilege of observing Mr. Z's students as they tackled challenges and solved problems through coding. It was inspiring to see these young minds brainstorm, troubleshoot, and collaborate to bring their visions to life within the Roblox universe! Students are not only learning valuable coding skills but also gaining confidence, teamwork abilities, and a deeper appreciation for technology. These skills are invaluable, setting them on a path toward success in the modern digital age.
