Success at Envirothon: Students Earn 3rd Place!

Our students recently showcased their environmental knowledge and teamwork at the annual Envirothon competition, securing an impressive 3rd place finish! Competing against teams from five high schools, our students demonstrated their expertise in Forestry, Soils, Wildlife, Aquatics, and the Current Event category, which this year focused on Sustainable Forestry.

The event took place at Spruce Creek Park in Port Orange, where teams of five tackled rigorous tests designed to challenge their understanding of ecological and environmental science. Envirothon is a prestigious national competition that encourages students to engage with real-world environmental issues and apply problem-solving skills in a collaborative setting.

Our dedicated team members were:

  • Abigail Aldridge

  • Amanda King

  • Cayden Spurk

  • Nevaeh Humphreys

  • Ryleigh Drollinger

  • Kylasia Merriel (Alternate)

We are incredibly proud of their accomplishment and their commitment to environmental stewardship. Congratulations to our students for their outstanding performance at Envirothon! We look forward to seeing them continue to excel in future competitions.
